
The PCM softball team defeated Grand View Christian at home Friday night as the baseball team fell short in Heart of Iowa Conference matchups.
The #3 ranked Mustang softball team defeated the Thunder 11-1 in four innings. Rylee Parsons got the win on the mound pitching all four innings just giving up two hits, one run, and recorded three strikeouts. Libby Winters had another big night at the plate going 3-3 with three runs, a double and a stolen base and Lilian Humpal went 2-3 with three runs, a home run, and two RBI. Also offensively in the contest Hadley Millang went 2-3 with a run, two doubles, and three RBI and Kyra Naeve went 2-2 with a run, triple, and three RBI. The PCM softball team improves to 15-2 overall.
The Mustang baseball team fell in their contest to the Thunder 15-2. Trigg Steenhoek had a productive night offensively going 3-3 at the plate while Izaac Bagby went 1-3 with two RBI and Jaden Houser went 1-3. The PCM baseball team falls to 6-8 overall. The PCM baseball and softball teams will be back in action on Monday at Nevada.
