In a game that resembled a slow pitch softball game, the Twin Cedars Baseball Squad outlasted Moulton-Udell 17-14 on Friday. The Sabers led throughout the game, jumping on top 10-1 after two innings. The Eagles would chip away, cutting the Saber lead to 11-8 in the 4th inning. However the Sabers would add three runs in the 4th and 5th innings to widen the gap, and then had to survive a five run 7th to preserve the win. Kaden Kloster drove in five runs. Holden Roberts got the win going 3 1/3 innings. The Softball Sabers dominated Moulton-Udell 19-5 with the game ending out four innings. Both Twin Cedars squads are off until Tuesday when they host arch-rival Melcher-Dallas.
