The Indianola baseball and softball teams make the trip to Newton Monday for single Little Hawkeye Conference contests.

The Indians baseball squad split a doubleheader with DCG on Friday, but are still in first place in the conference standings by a half-game over Pella with an 11-3 record, and will look to replicate their doubleheader sweep over the Cardinals from early June, winning 12-2 and 2-0.

The softball team is going for a season series win over the Cardinals after the two squads split a doubleheader in the first matchup, both teams winning blowout victories with Newton winning game one 12-3 and Indianola getting a 13-0 shutout in game two.

Baseball will be broadcast live on the KRLS3 stream with Randy Van on the call, pregame coverage begins at 6:45pm, while softball can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA with Clayton Sampson on the call, with pregame beginning at approximately 7pm.
