
A brief severe thunderstorm warning in Jasper County prompted Severe Weather Action Team coverage and came in between multiple rounds of heavy rainfall across many central Iowa communities on Monday.
Live storm updates were given during the Pella vs. Pella Christian baseball broadcast for the threat of strong winds and damaging hail. It was the only local warning received during multiple rounds of thunderstorms that dropped 2-4″ of heavy rain across many south central Iowa communities, starting in the late afternoon and continuing into the overnight hours.
