The Marion County Board of Supervisors are moving meeting locations.

Meetings will now be held at the Marion County North Annex, which was formally known as the Marion County Public Health building starting on July 8th. The north annex will now be the office location for board of supervisors Steve McCombs and Jim Mueller, and the economic development department. Supervisor Chair Kisha Jahner’s office will now be on the fourth floor of the courthouse. 

The county office building located at 3014 E Main St. in Knoxville, where the meetings were previously held and some supervisors had their office, is getting leased to the fifth district of the Iowa Department of Corrections. The total space that will be rented out is 2,146 square feet and the lease will last through June 30th, 2028 at a cost of $18,000 per year.
