The PCM softball team won a suspended game at Perry Wednesday to clinch a Heart of Iowa Conference title as the baseball and softball team won conference games at South Hamilton.

The #3 Mustang softball team defeated Perry earlier in the day as they resumed a game that was suspended due to weather earlier in the season. PCM picked up the 12-0 win in five innings. Libby Winters pitched five innings just giving up two hits and had eight strikeouts. Offensively Addie Hudnut went 2-2 at the plate with a run, a double, a hit by pitch and four RBI, Camden Webb went 2-3 with a run, a double and two RBI, Kyra Naeve went 2-3 with two runs and an RBI and Tori Lindsay went 2-4 with two runs, and RBI and a stolen base. 

In their game against South Hamilton the Mustangs picked up an 11-1 win in five innings. Camden Webb pitched all five innings just giving up one hit and one run and recorded ten strikeouts. Offensively Kyra Naeve had a big game at the plate going 3-4 with two runs, a double, and a stolen base, Hadley Millang went 2-3 with a run and RBI, and Tori Lindsay went 2-3 with a run, double, RBI, and a hit by pitch. The PCM softball team improves to 18-2 on the season.

The Mustang baseball team picked up a 6-2 win against the Hawks. Trenner Van Dyke pitched two innings giving up one run, and had four strikeouts and Kaleb DeVries got the win pitching five innings just giving up one run and had six strikeouts. Offensively Alex Wendt went 2-2 with a double, walk, hit by pitch and an RBI as Carson Hansen went 1-2 and Jaden Houser went 1-3. The PCM baseball team improves to 7-9 overall.

The PCM baseball and softball teams will travel to Pella Christian tonight.
