A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the entire KNIA/KRLS listening area until 9 p.m.

Conditions are favorable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing large hail and damaging winds, as well as isolated tornadoes.

Flash flooding remains a threat, as already saturated ground will do little to hold additional excessive rainfall.

The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air with live coverage of any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning in Marion, Warren, or Jasper Counties.
