
The Twin Cedars Summer Sports Squads split their respective non conference games on Wednesday with baseball winning over Ogden 7-2 and softball losting to EBF 10-1. The baseball squad was led by Braxton Davis as he went 3/4 with an RBI. The Sabers methodically pulled away from the Bulldogs leading by as much as seven runs in the 6th inning. Gavin Clark got the win going the distance scattering five runs, walking two and striking out four. Meanwhile the softball squad jumped on top of the Rockets. EBF would benefit from multiple errors, walks, and hit batters to score runs in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th innings to end it early. The Sabers managed one hit on the night. Baseball will host Ankeny Christian tonight, softball is in action on Friday hosting Moravia.
