The leader of the Pella Community School District was honored for an award at a leadership conference this week. Greg Ebeling, Superintendent of Pella Community School District received the Exemplar Award in Education from Humanex. This award is presented to “individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and create a lasting, positive impact on their schools and communities—leaving a meaningful legacy for future generations.⁠” Ebeling announced he intends to retire following the upcoming academic year, and has previously been recognized as the 2017-18 Iowa Superintendent of the Year by the School Administrators of Iowa.
