The Indianola softball team finished a halfway completed game over Newton Monday afternoon, after the game was paused due to rain earlier this month. The Indians took a 14-6 lead partway through the fourth inning before the game was called off due to weather, and ended up scoring four more runs in the inning when it resumed Monday to lead 18-6, with Newton scoring no runs in the bottom of the innings and it ended early. The Indians are now 17-12 on the season, and will next host Oskaloosa tonight.
