The Knoxville Public Library is holding an Iowa Scenic View by Foot with Tyler Sullivan event on Thursday, July 10th.

The event will be from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm and Sullivan will talk about his experience of going on runs through all 99 of Iowa counties. Knoxville Adult Services Librarian Cari Meissner says Sullivan also writes poetry while exploring the state. 

“I’m very excited for this one. Tyler Sullivan has gone through I think every Iowa county and even stopped by most of the towns on the Iowa road map. He runs through each of them, goes on a run through each of them and writes poetry, travels to all sorts of museums. I really just think he’s just painting pictures of how beautiful Iowa is, how special it is.”

All Knoxville Public Library programming is free and open to the public.
