The Jasper County Road Department says North 99th Avenue East between East 64th and East 84th Streets North is currently closed for a road re-grade. The project north of the Mariposa County Recreation Area just got underway, and is scheduled to be finished by the end of the day Thursday. The work involves cutting foreslope, cleaning the ditch, and fixing crossroad pipes or driveways that are higher than the road. The Jasper County Road Department says residents who live along this portion of North 99th Avenue East, and farmers who need to get through, can typically be accommodated by working with the road crew.
