Several offices in Knoxville will be closed Friday in observance of Independence Day. 

Residents are reminded that Knoxville City Hall and all other city offices will be closed on Friday, along with the Knoxville Post Office, Knoxville Public Library, Knoxville Recreation Center and financial institutions. The Marion County Courthouse offices will also be closed, in addition to the Knoxville School District business office.

Banks and many retailers will also close for the holiday as well.
