The Twin Cedars Baseball Squad defeated Murray on Thursday 9-4 to take 3rd place in the Bluegrass Conference this summer. The Sabers rapped out 11 hits and held the Mustangs to just four on the night. Reed McElroy was 3/4 with an RBI while Holden Roberts kept his hot bat working going 2/4 and driving in a run while Brandon Puyear also drove in two. Puyear also earned the win going 4 1/3 innings allowing three hits and striking out five. Twin Cedars will turn its attention to the class 1A Substate as the Sabers take on Moulton-Udell.
