
Improvements to a railroad crossing on Jasper County Highway T-38 North will close the highway for a week later this month. The Jasper County Road Department says Iowa Interstate Railroad will be working on the Highway T-38 crossing southeast of Oakland Acres from Monday, July 14th through Friday, July 18th. Detours will be set up while the highway is impassable. Northbound drivers on T-38 will be detoured onto Interstate 80, Iowa Highway 224 North, and U.S. Highway 6 East. Southbound traffic will be detoured north to U.S. Highway 6 East, Iowa Highway 224 South, and Interstate 80.
