The PCM baseball team will open postseason play today against East Marshall.

The Mustangs will take on East Marshall in the first round of the Class 2A Substate 6 bracket. PCM finished the regular season 8-13 and are coming off a 10-0 win over Greene County Wednesday night as East Marshall concluded their regular season with an 11-13 mark and lost to South Hardin in their last regular season contest. PCM and East Marshall have not played since 2021 where PCM won that game 8-6. PCM leads the overall series in the Bound era 8-3. 

Today’s game will start at 11:00 a.m. and will be held at James W. Cownie Baseball Park in Des Moines. The winner will face Pleasantville on Tuesday.
