The organization responsible for the annual Tulip Time festival is calling out to artists that can help form the vision for the 2026 celebration. Pella Historical Museums Executive Director Jessi Galligan says the second annual Tulip Time art contest is ongoing until Saturday, July 12th. She says the purpose of this competition is to celebrate area artists as part of the Tulip Time Festival, “working together to capture the beauty of Pella and promote our community to visitors.” This year, two categories will be held for adults and youth. The winners will be announced on August 2nd at the Kermis celebration, and their work will be featured heavily in the marketing campaign for the 2026 Tulip Time festival, scheduled next May 7th through the 9th.
