The Knoxville City Council met in regular session on Monday night. At the meeting, the council approved a Sternquist Construction change order for the street improvement project. The council then requested additional bids for the purchase of Amkus rescue tools for the Knoxville Fire Department and the agenda item will be on the next meeting’s agenda for further discussion. The council also approved  three tax abatement applications in the consent agenda.
