The City of Knoxville and the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce have welcomed new chamber director Megan Bennett.
A Knoxville native, Bennett graduated from Knoxville High School in 2012 before earning her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University. A release from the chamber states “Megan brings with her a wealth of experience, having previously worked with a Chamber of Commerce in Indiana. After relocating back to Knoxville with her family in 2022, Megan is eager to contribute her expertise while honoring the town’s core values and traditions.”
“Megan’s understanding of the community combined with her fresh perspective and innovative ideas will undoubtedly help drive the Knoxville Chamber to new heights,” said Perry Hager, President of the Knoxville Chamber Board. “We’re excited to see the vision she has for our Chamber and the future of our local businesses.”
Bennett shares her excitement about the opportunity, stating, “I’m looking forward to working closely with local businesses and community leaders to continue fostering a strong and supportive environment for growth. Knoxville has such a rich history and vibrant community, and I’m honored to be part of its future.”
Bennett started in her new role this week.
