
The 2025 Marion County Fair will kick off today.
This year’s fair theme is “Halloween and Mid-Summer Scares” and will include a full week of entertainment, activities, projects on display, livestock shows, food, and more. This year’s fair will include six different shows everyday that kids can attend, a foam zone, inflatables, a ferris wheel, and pony rides that are all free of charge. The evening entertainment will consist of a Rodney Adkins concert tonight, who will be joined by guest Alex Miller, weekly sprint car races Saturday, a rodeo on Sunday, Impact pro wrestling on Monday, and a demolition derby on Tuesday. Marion County 4-H will also host a variety of events and activities throughout the fair and there will also be the daily livestock shows held in the show pavilion.
Today’s events include the dog show at 8:30 am, a kids bucks show at 9:30 am, 12:45 pm, and 3:00 pm, a kids craft corner at Noon, chicken poop bingo at 1:00 pm, a coloring contest at 2:00 pm, Absolutely Jim at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm, the Rodney Adkins Concert at 7:00 pm and more.
