Weather did not cooperate for the fourth annual National Balloon Classic Sky Parade on Thursday evening on the downtown Indianola square, as only one balloon piloted by Indianola native Cory Bloom was able to fly due to high winds and multiple areas across the state experiencing severe weather. The annual event combines supporting the downtown businesses and restaurants and building excitement for the upcoming National Balloon Classic that begins on July 25th. The KNIA Big Red Radio was on location playing music and making announcements.
