The first full day of the 2025 Jasper County Fair is one week away. The fairgrounds in Colfax will open at 8 a.m. next Friday morning, July 18th. The opening ceremonies will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be followed by the 4-H and FFA Horse Show at 9 a.m. Clothing judging in the Youth Exhibit Building is also scheduled for next Friday afternoon, along with the 4-H and FFA dog and cat shows. A  Cornhole Tournament at 6 p.m. will wrap up the fair’s day one activities. The theme for this year’s Jasper County Fair is “Critters, Candles, Cake – Let’s Celebrate 170 years of the Jasper County Fair.” The fair runs through Thursday, July 24th, and a complete schedule of events can be found here.
