The Knoxville Baseball Squad is already looking forward to next season as the Panthers finished up a 22-11 season on Monday losing to Saydel in the substate semi-final. Pitching will be one of the deepest staffs in the area and Coach Turner Devore tells KNIA/KRLS along with Kyler Gifford ,Roston McCarty, and Lincoln Norris coming up back, Devore also is looking at a few other guys that may not have got as many innings this season that may get more time on the mound next season.
Devore: “We’re going to be as deep pitching wise as we’ve ever been. Jace Kaeding is got some good stuff, Briar Kingery will likely get more innings, and we return Kyler, Roston and the other guys we just need to hone them in and get better.
The only pitcher that will depart is Brenden Woolsey who was 2-2 on the season with 37 strikeouts and had a 4.06 ERA.
