Newton Main Street hosted an extended Farmer’s Market Tuesday at the Legacy Plaza Greenspace with new vendors, live music, food trucks, fundraisers for some local organizations, special activities for kids, and an appearance by the KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio playing music. The Farmer’s Market was open an hour longer from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Advantage Credit Union sponsored live music by the group “The Girls Next Door” from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Activities for children included a Bounce House sponsored by Deckerations, Face Painting, Make and Take Art, and Yard Games.
