Simpson College introduced Interim President Sue Stuebner to the public Tuesday, after a months long search. Stuebner will serve in an interim role until the end of the academic year, at which time both Stuebner and the Simpson College Board of Trustees will re-evaluate the search process and decide on removing the interim title. Stuebner tells KNIA News she was drawn to Simpson College during the search process, and she is determined to help keep Simpson on the right path over the course of the next year.

“When I walked on campus, it just feels like a college campus, it just has this beautiful look. And as I met community members, it is really extraordinary the sense of community here. A lot of small college say that is what they offer, but there are few that really elevate it to a different level and that is what I sense here.”
