
The Indianola City Council meets in regular session Monday, with the Indianola Police Department presenting their annual report. The council will also consider bids for the Indianola Downtown Facade Revitalization Program, approval of a site plan for New Era Homes located 304 South 21st Street, and the site plan for Pickard Lot 12 located at 300 South 20th Street.
The council will also consider an official policy for the conduct of future city council appointments, which shall include a requirement that each participating council member’s vote be made public during the open session in which the election is held during the appointment process, and a policy regarding the discussion of the appointment outside of meetings and not in closed session.
The council will end the meeting by going into closed session to discuss litigation.
The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
