Heavy rainfall is possible at times through Saturday morning, with amounts of 1 to 3 inches expected and locally higher amounts possible. While there are heavy rain concerns every day, according to the National Weather Service, there will be breaks between rounds of rainfall. Radar estimates indicate many local communities have received 8-12” of precipitation over the past month. Hot and humid conditions are expected to continue during the daytime hours through the middle of next week.
