The #9 moment in the Melcher-Dallas/Twin Cedars Sports moments this year goes to Melcher-Dallas. The Saints for three long years were without a home gym due to heavy snow collapsing the roof. After three years of the volleyball and basketball squads traveling and not having a true home game plus rearranging practices ,the Saints on September 3rd officially opened their new facility with a volleyball match against Mormon Trail. Basketball also was glad to have home games and Addi Wadle, who graduated this past May from Melcher-Dallas High School told KNIA Sports she appreciated Southeast Warren for allowing her and her teammates to play their home games there, but was excited to finally play at a gym that had the Melcher-Dallas logos.

Wadle: “Playing SE Warren here really meant a lot and we appreciated what they did for but to beat them on our own floor. It was so nice to pack our own gym and here our fans.”

Not only the gym, but most of the main entryway of the high school was redone in a remodeling project.
