The Pella Public Library will wrap up its Outdoor Adventure Series by hosting Sophie Mathonnet-Vanderwell on Wednesday, August 13th at 6:30 pm. During the event, Sophie will share about her experience walking the Robert Louis Stevenson Trail in the Cevennes region of southern France. Last year, she, her husband, and friends took six days to walk roughly 75 miles through the trail, where Stevenson recounted his adventures on the same trail in “Travels with a Donkey in the Cevennes.
