The Indianola Police Department received a Prairie Meadows Community Betterment Grant as announced earlier this week. According to a city release, the grant is for $30,000 that will purchase additional in-car camera systems, and replace outdated-non-functioning equipment. The new systems, expected to be operational by the end of the year, will strengthen the department’s efficiency by providing real-time data and video footage, ultimately contributing to a safer and more secure environment.
