The two biggest weeks on the sprint car calendar begin tonight as Southern Iowa Sprint Week starts off with the 35th Annual 360 Nationals at the Knoxville Raceway. This year’s field looks like a who’s who of the High Limit Sprint Car Series with eight of the top ten in points entered. Also entered are six past champions of the 360 Nationals and NASCAR Driver and reigning Knoxville Nationals Champion Kyle Larson. Two drivers that will not be racing this weekend who have won the event in the past are 2022 winner Aaron Reutzel and defending champion Tyler Courtney. Both were injured in crashes recently and are currently recovering, but unable to drive. One driver trying to win his first is former Knoxville weekly driver Chase Randall, who is one of the High Limit drivers entered. Randall tells KNIA/KRLS Sports hopes some recent runs get him the confidence he needs to run up front.
Randall: “It’s all about momentum in racing and getting on some runs in racing and changing how you perform. I’ve always been really comfortable here so I don’t think we’ll have a problem finding the front.”
Live coverage tonight will begin at 5:00 with Live Track Side and Race Nights Live at 7:00 on KNIA.
