The Indianola Fire Department received a Prairie Meadows Community Betterment Grant as announced earlier this week. The department received $27,602.79 to purchase a new utility task vehicle (UTV). The UTV will be used for wildland fires and as a medical unit for special events or isolated rescues where ambulances cannot reach. Find more information below.
