Pella Corporation announced the acquisition of Weather Shield, a manufacturer of architectural wood and aluminum window and door solutions based in Medford, Wisconsin. In a press release, Pella Corporation announced that the move brings together two industry leaders with complementary capabilities and a shared commitment to innovation and craftsmanship.
Weather Shield is known for assisting with unique needs of architects, builders, and homeowners. By joining Pella Corporation, both companies are aiming to be positioned for additional growth. Weather Shield launched the VUE Collection at the International Builders’ Show in 2023— a modern, all-aluminum product line designed for customization and visual impact.
“With 70 years of experience in the window and door industry, Weather Shield has demonstrated an outstanding understanding of architectural design and consistently delivers on quality and customer expectations,” said Tim Yaggi, Chief Executive Officer of Pella Corporation. “Their reputation for innovation and precision engineering makes them a natural strategic fit. Together, we’ll build on our complementary strengths to create even more compelling solutions for the customers we serve.”
“We are thrilled to join the Pella family,” said Bob Foote, President of Weather Shield. “This partnership represents a powerful strategic and cultural alignment that will allow our people and our business to thrive. Pella Corporation’s century-long legacy of market leadership, operational excellence, and customer-first mindset makes them the ideal partner for our next chapter.”
