Indianola and Norwalk have been named as contenders for the Iowa League of Cities 2025 People’s Choice All-Star Community Award tournament. The 16-city bracket style tournament will have individual matchups determined by Facebook likes in a photo album.
Indianola was nominated for the Downtown Master Plan that transformed Indianola’s square into an economically, socially, and environmentally vibrant public space that supports this historic community.
Norwalk was nominated for creating a new community anchor with a public/private sports campus that acts as a development hub for recreation, entertainment, retail, and hotel activity.
