Counting down the top 10 sports stories of the year for Indianola High School, continuing with #2.

The Indianola boys wrestling team boasted an individual champion as sophomore Mac Crosson dominated all season long at 138lbs. Crosson would win a Little Hawkeye Conference championship as he helped lead the Indians to a team championship, then earn the #1 seed at the state meet. Crosson dominated with a 24-8 Technical Fall win in the quarterfinals after a first round bye, before earning a 1-0 close Decision in the semifinals to earn a spot in the championship round. Crosson again turned up the heat in the finals, winning by Major Decision 11-1 to win the title.

Crosson finished the season with an undefeated record, and returns with a host of Indianola ranked wrestlers next season.
