The Indianola girls tennis team fell to Waukee in the season opener at home on Tuesday 9-2. Emily Allen picked up a marathon victory at #1 singles, splitting the first two sets winning 6-2 and falling 3-6, then winning the third set tiebreaker 10-4 to earn the win. The doubles team of MacKenzie McBroom and Peyton Rinard won at #5 doubles in straight sets 7-5 and 6-4. The Indians fall to 0-1, and will next compete in Little Hawkeye Conference action tomorrow hosting Oksaloosa.
