The Class 1A runners-up in the 2025 spring girls tennis season opened with victory in the 2025 fall campaign, with the #2 ranked Dutch winning the Knoxville Invitational on Tuesday.

Pella scored 119 team points, with a top two sweep of the doubles bracket, keyed by the four returning varsity regulars for the green and white, including the duos of Abby Hietbrink and Addi Namminga (1st place) and Addison Van Wyk and Reagan DeJong. Newcomers Ellie Smock and Macy Westerkamp placed 3rd and 4th respectively in the singles rounds.

Head Coach David Bouska believes they have a strong core of talent to build around and to push for another late run into the team state tournament rounds in October.

Season preview interview with Bouska:

The Dutch have their first dual meet of the season Thursday on the road at Dallas Center-Grimes.
