Looking to start the season 2-0 for the second straight year, the Pella Christian girls tennis team makes the short trip across Lake Red Rock to take on Knoxville today.

The Eagles started the season out with a dominant 9-0 sweep over Centerville last Friday, dropping just three of the 75 games played in the match. Meanwhile, the Panthers have already played one dual match and hosted a seven-team tournament, defeating Nevada 7-2 last Friday and taking third at their home invitational on Tuesday. Today’s matchup between Pella Christian and Knoxville is the fourth in the last four years, with the Eagles claiming the victories in the prior three contests. Pella Christian picked up a 9-0 sweep against the Panthers in 2023, before adding a pair of narrow 5-4 and 7-4 wins in the 2024 and 2025 meetings. 

The Eagles girls tennis match at Knoxville today is scheduled to begin at 9 am.
