
Dropping only three out of 25 sets, the Norwalk girls tennis team improved to 2-0 on Thursday with an 11-0 dual win over Newton.
Warrior sophomores Logan Geisler and Kierdyn Stockwell both won third-set super tiebreakers at the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots. Leah Black, Elena Harder, Myla Brown and Brooke McKinney, meanwhile, all won easily in straight sets.
The Norwalk doubles teams of Geisler and Stockwell, Black and Harder, Brown and Jacey Crane, and Savannah Wright and Emily Badger each won in straight sets. McKinney and Lily Laine won 6-1, 4-6, 10-1.
The Warriors will play two more duals today, hosting North Polk at 9:00 a.m. and Ballard at noon.
