Warren County 4-H exhibitors had multiple top placements at the Iowa State Fair as announced this week, part of 61 static exhibitors competing.

Two Warren County exhibits were awarded a Purple Ribbon – Judges Choice, including:

Isaac Greene – Utilizing waste product of meat rabbit harvest by learning to tan hides and then create a useful item (mittens) from the tanned furs.

Jacob Pilcher – 1967 Chevy Pickup

Other Warren County awards included 38 Blue Ribbons, 18 Red Ribbons, and two other Top 5 finishes.

The Carlisle Trail Blazers 4-H Club was also honored with a 1st place finish in the 2025 Do All the Good You Can Service Challenge presented by the Iowa State 4-H Council.
