chamber-expo

The Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the organization’s first ever Business and Community Expo at Berg Middle School on Saturday. The goal of the event, according to Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kaylea Marchant, was to connect the city’s business owners to the community, and give new residents information about where they can get the goods and services they need. Marchant says the Chamber of Commerce plans to make the expo an annual event that will naturally grow.

“Again, it’s the first one. So we are hoping to build on it going forward, and make it a nice annual event for everybody.

The Business and Community Expo was free to attend, and was open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Chamber members were invited to attend on Friday,
