The PCM girls cross country team is ranked #3 in the Iowa Association of Track Coaches preseason poll.

The Mustangs come into the season ranked only behind Van Meter and Mid-Prairie. PCM junior Lila Milani is also ranked #27 in the individual rankings. The PCM girls had a seventh place finish at the state cross country meet last year and will return everyone this year under second year head coach Eric Osterhaus. The Mustangs first meet of the season will be on Monday at Knoxville.
