One thing that new Twin Cedars Football Coach Michael Duschen is trying to do is change the culture of the program. The 1st item was to get an offseason weight program started. He tells KNIA/KRLS Sports a way to get the culture changed is give the players some ownership of the program and allow them to be a part of the decision making and leadership of the offseason work.

Duschen: “So the reason why you have those offseason programs, they kids can do those football related activities, and give the kids a scene of ownership so they respond well.”

Twin Cedars will hold an inter-squad scrimmage this Friday and the season opener is next Friday when the Sabers travel to Mormon Trail.
