The Indianola boys cross country team will have plenty of experience returning from those who ran at Fort Dodge at the state meet last year, as all seven runners will be coming back this year. The squad featured seniors Reed Robbins, Keifer Barnes, and Paxton Bloom, juniors Sam Appel, Isaiah Thomsen, and Owen Welling, in addition to sophomore Jake Robidoux. Head coach Kevin Barnes tells KNIA Sports this youth movement started with the trio of seniors who made an immediate impact in their freshman seasons, and now the future is even brighter with even more younger athletes stepping up.
