Construction is well underway on a new convenience store in Pella. Ben Leibl with KwikStar says the chain is expanding to several locations in the area, including in the Tulip City. The store located near the Highway 163/Washington Street interchange is slated for completion by mid-November, which includes a new traffic light at the exit ramp. The current schedule has November 13th as the first day. Leibl says a community grand opening will soon follow in early December.
