The American Rivers Conference men’s soccer coaches preseason poll has been released, with Simpson picked to finish in fifth place and Central picked to finish in a tie for sixth.

Coming off of a fifth place finish in 2024, the Storm return seven starters, including all-conference midfielder/forward Mitchell Dickson and a solid core of juniors. Simpson also returns head coach Rick Isaacson, who is entering his 15th season at the helm of the program.

The Dutch are coming off a sixth place finish in the ARC in 2024, and bring back seven starters. In addition to posting an 8-9-2 record last year, Central won their first conference tournament game since 2019 and won on the road at Loras for the first time in school history. The Dutch are led by long-time head coach Garry Laidlaw, who is entering his 28th season with the program.

The Storm start their season on August 29th against Augustana (Ill.), and the Dutch start their season August 30th hosting Blackburn (Ill.).
