The Indianola City Council held a study session after their meeting Monday, receiving an update on the city website redesign process. City Manager Jake Meshke tells KNIA News the project is being led by an internal team including Communications Director Aaron Young, and is focused on ease of access and ease of finding information.

“We are really taking a focus on accessibility and the different aspects that can come into play with the website. We are also continuing to always focus on the navigability of the website, just making sure that our residents and visitors are able to find the information they are seeking on the website efficiently and effectively.”

The website redesign project is setting a target date of January of 2026.
