A busy stretch turned into victory as the Pella girls tennis team defeated Indianola in a Little Hawkeye Conference matchup by a 9-2 score.

Pella had five singles wins, including Abby Hietbrink, Reagan DeJong, Addi Namminga, Ellie Smock, and Macy Westerkamp. Dutch doubles victories came from Hietbrink/Namminga, Van Wyk/DeJong, Westerkamp/Ella Van Arendonk, and Rachael DeJong/Aubrey Rozenboom.

The Dutch are now hosting the “Tulip City Tussle” invitational this Saturday, which includes more than a dozen Iowa High School teams — many of whom are ranked, playing at the Pella, Pella Christian, and Central tennis courts.
