Traffic patterns will change over the next week in Pella as students return to school at all ages in Pella and surrounding communities.

Pella Police Captain Paul Haase says they remind everyone passing through areas around Pella Community Schools, Pella Christian, and Central College to use extra caution and watch for extra pedestrians. Central has already had move in and classes, while school begins Monday through Wednesday for the local K-12 schedules.

The Pella Police Department is participating in the Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau next enhanced traffic wave continuing through Labor Day.
