The Indianola girls cross country team placed 6th in their season opening meet at Ankeny Centennial Tuesday, scoring 122 points. Ady Mason was the top finisher in 11th place with a 19:58.2, while Paige Hoger was 17th, Cali Laxton was 28th, and Lilly Hoger placed 31st. Other runners included Leah Hartford in 35th, Keira Labertew in 45th, and Rylee Tenges in 46th. The Indians next run Saturday at the Johnston Sunrise Invitational.
